3. Household & Assessment Information

IndepenX may collect information about your home, household needs, accessibility concerns, mobility considerations, safety priorities, and plans for remaining independent at home.

We use this information to provide assessments, recommendations, action plans, and relevant service-provider matches.

IndepenX is a non-medical platform. Household assessment information is used to support aging-in-place planning and related services and is not intended to constitute a medical diagnosis or medical record.

4. Sharing With Service Providers

When you request a service or choose to connect with a service provider, we may share information reasonably necessary for that provider to understand and respond to your request.

This may include your name, contact information, general location, requested service, project details, and other information you choose to provide.

Providers may use information obtained through IndepenX only for legitimate purposes related to the requested service and as otherwise permitted by applicable law.

IndepenX does not need to store complete payment-card numbers when those details are handled directly by the payment processor.

However, no internet transmission, platform, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

13. Non-Medical Platform

IndepenX is a non-medical support and service marketplace.

We do not provide medical diagnosis, medical treatment, nursing services, emergency response, or other healthcare services, and we do not maintain medical records as a healthcare provider.

Information provided through assessments, recommendations, scores, action plans, or platform content is intended to support independent-living and aging-in-place planning and should not be considered medical advice.

If you are experiencing a medical or other emergency, contact the appropriate emergency services.

14. Third-Party Service Providers

Independent service providers available through IndepenX are separate businesses.

Once a homeowner engages a provider, that provider may independently collect information necessary to perform the requested work. The provider's handling of information outside the IndepenX platform may be governed by the provider's own privacy practices and applicable law.

15. Children's Privacy

IndepenX is not intended for use by children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

If we learn that such information has been collected inappropriately, we may take reasonable steps to delete it.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as IndepenX evolves or as legal and operational requirements change.

When material changes are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date and provide additional notice when required by applicable law.
